This Privacy Policy explains how PassLPN Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and study application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (or Google account details if you sign in with Google).
  • Payment information: billing details are collected directly by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
  • AI Tutor inputs: the text and screenshot images you submit to the AI Tutor feature.
  • Support communications: messages you send us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Study activity: lessons visited, quiz/flashcard/HESI answers, scores, study streaks, XP, and similar progress data.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and local storage: small data files used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and store recent AI Tutor conversation history on your device.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate you and secure your account;
  • Process payments and manage your subscription;
  • Generate AI Tutor responses and personalize your study experience;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted third-party service providers that help us run the Service, in categories such as:

  • Authentication and database hosting — to manage sign-in and store your account and study data.
  • Payment processing — to handle subscriptions and billing.
  • AI processing — to generate AI Tutor responses from the messages and screenshots you submit.
  • Application hosting and infrastructure — to deliver the Service reliably over the internet.
  • Email and analytics — to send transactional messages and understand product usage.

These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PassLPN Pro, our users, or others.

4. AI Tutor data

Messages and screenshots you submit to the AI Tutor are sent to a third-party AI service provider for the sole purpose of generating a response. Recent conversation history is also stored in your browser’s local storage so the conversation persists across sessions; this history is cleared when you log out. Do not submit information you would not want shared with a third-party AI service.

5. Data retention

We retain account and study-progress data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes (for example, payment records).

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@passlpnpro.com. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children

The Service is intended for users 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International users

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States or other countries. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice.
